CHAP. I — Who We Are

About Us

The diversity of life on Earth is what makes our world wondrous, awe inspiring and breathtaking. It’s also what makes it habitable for human beings. Yet our planet is facing an extraordinary crisis, threatening the survival of all living things. Support for the conservation and promotion of biodiversity has grown dramatically in recent years, but it still focuses almost exclusively on a few charismatic species and little-changed conservation messaging.

On the EDGE Conservation aims to champion biodiversity and change the narrative for nature. Our focus is on supporting the conservation of EDGE species, as ambassadors for the world’s biodiversity, and catalysing worldwide positive action for conservation.
